To be honest, I still prefer the optical viewfinder to the electronic one. At the same time eliminating flapping mirror and mechanical shutter reduces vibration. This results in better sharpness under similar shooting conditions. Having lens sit closer to the sensor allows manufacturers to create a larger back optical elements in new lenses.
