Elowah Fall

  • The trickling water found its path through the round boulders covered in fuzzy moss. Autumnal leaves decorated the rocks and formed golden clumps in the stream. The dark face of the rock wall was softened by the exposed roots and emerald coating of the branches. I followed the water by watching a single leaf float downriver. (Portland. Oregon)
