Sunburst Peak Panorama

I have finally finished going through material from my latest trip to Assiniboine Provincial Park. This is one of my favorite places. This time I took time to capture the scene properly. It is very difficult to focus on camera controls and a small portion of the scene in the viewfinder instead of admiring the grandeur of the landscape changing by the minute in the rays of the setting sun.

This time I have gone the distance and the resulting image is an amazing 300-megapixel panorama. The level of detail is like nothing I have done so far.

The piece is so large that I will likely have to transport it to the gallery on the roof of my truck

Some of the photos of me spending three nights in the park

The first day was traditionally gloomy with few breaks in thick clouds. This photo is taken about 10 min off the helipad on the trail to the Nub peak.
